History of April’s Fool
April 1st is named Fool’s Day after Steve April. He was born on April 1st , 1779. As a child he was considered a genius, learned to read and write at a young age; wrote opera librettos, music and poetry
He graduated with economics degree from Yale when he was 19, but had no sense in business. Started over 50 enterprises, but all went into bankruptcy or were closed down.he lost all of his father’s assets and was known as the king of fools.
He became desolated and a loner, but indulged in his real passion: reading.
He spent countless hours reading fake stories, just like you are doing now. April fool! Got you……
